Our Regular Events

Open Mic: On the night of performance, performers sign in on the board for one of 16 available 8-minute slots (first-come basis). Two slots are reserved for new performers until 6:55, and those who played last week are asked to defer to those who did not. There is an intermission after the first 8 slots. A $1 donation is requested from each person (audience and performers alike) to help support Club operational costs.

Showcase: A modified Open Mike format that occurs (usually) on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. One Club member who wins the drawing is given a triple-length set (usually the last three slots during the first half).

Concert: An evening of entertainment from among the best of regional, national, and international talent. Reservations are required and include a donation for the performer(s). Usually, 4 single-song slots are available before the main performance, which are filled, as with Open Mike Night, on a first-come basis.

Party: Twice a year, in May (to celebrate our anniversary) and December (our Holiday Party), The Club hosts a party with a modified format and special attractions. Performers sign up for single-song slots. Free cake is provided for all.

5th Tuesday: If there’s a fifth Tuesday in a month, we’re unplugged. The ‘Open Mic’ format, but entirely un-amplified. No PA or other sound equipment is used, and only acoustic instruments and vocals are featured. A return to the pub-style environment that inspired The Club’s founders.
